This is the place you need to be if you want to find out about all of our new and exciting brands, as well as our old favourites. We will be letting you know what we've been getting up to, giving you a sneak peek at future plans, and the best bit...road testing new toys (We love our job!!!).

Next up for discusion on this Months Weasel Waffle, is what we are up too. January is the month we hit the trade shows. The most exciting being Katie's and G'ma Bug (aka Katie's mum) road trip to Germany to visit the Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair. We also have a few trips to "that there London Town" for the likes of The Toy Fair and Top Drawer.
We also take stock on what the last year has brought us. In 2017 we started the year with a 5ft flood in the basement, thanks to a burst pipe. For a morning we had our very own very cold swimming pool. The super lovely firefighters where quick to help and had the water pumpin down the street within the hour, giving a whole new meaning to Watergate Street. After 4 weeks of being closed for repair we opened our doors again and you lovely lot came back to shop.
As well as growing our orignal brands we welcomed some amazing new brands into our store such as Grimms, Holztiger, Goki, Lanka kade and Plan Toys which you lot can't get enough of. Who knows what we will be stocking next!!
July we celebrated Weasel and the Bug turning 1!! A WHOLE year old. Thanks to all our customers beliving in our dreams. It really does mean the world to us!!!!
In September Katie was short listed for BizMums new business owner of the year, which she was amazed at and unsure who nominated her, though she still thinks it's her mum ; )
Then in October we where over the moon to have won CH1BID's customer service award for the 2nd year running, considering we are only 18months old we think this is super awesome!
November saw the start of the Christmas madness!! We where also short listed for a Christmas Window competion ( You all know how much we love a window display!).
November quickly became December where we all worked away pretty late, much like Santa's little elfs. We also helped organise along side CH1 BID, The Chester Standard and the other business of Watergate Street the very first Winter on Watergate Street. This put the spotlight on independant business as we showcased our business, had offers and events instore along side some on the street activies such as facepainting. We had the Coffetots Play Cafe "crew" in who did hosted a "whats in the bag song time", we loved that and everyone in our little store got invloved. Father Christmas even came to visit and brought along some snow from the North Pole as well as some goodies for the children that where lucky enought to meet him.
Amoungest all this customers have become friends and we have had some really good times in our little warren of a shop!
2017 has been a busy old year for the W&B team and we simply can not wait to see what 2018 brings for us at Weasel Towers!
Happy New Year- may it be a good one!
